Coaching Across Cultures
Workshop Goal: To help workshop participants to be significantly more effective leaders by,
- Providing participants with a robust framework for understanding and assessing relevant differences within a multi-cultural context.
- Increasing participants' strategies and skills for coaching and mentoring within a multi-cultural context.
Description: Five or Six Hour workshop (depending on scope and number of participants.) Participants use various models and definitions to better understand the impact of cultural norms within organizations. The second part of the workshop focuses on coaching and specific communication strategies. These models and skill practice are presented with your organization's context in the forefront. This workshop can be tailored for a small/medium multi-cultural organization and/or a large corporate business with a global business model.

- Introduce cultural influences in organizational work -
- Impact of human cultural norms on business within organizations
- Impact of organizational cultural norms on humans within organizations
- Practice "models" which assist in unearthing cultural assumptions in a business context
- Identify and practice leadership behaviors to strengthen multi-cultural organizations
- Identify and practice successful coaching/mentoring skills
- Discuss/practice coaching/mentoring within a multi-cultural context
